Hi admin,
thanks for the reply. I was specifically looking for someone who has a remit for cross community work or delivering GAA in what would not normally be considered traditional GAA schools and communities. Hope this is a bit clearer.

A number of people can fit into that category. We would suggest that you contact County secretary Frankie Quinn (details in Committees section) with this query and we can get something sorted for you.

Just wondering when the dates of each of the fixtures will be posted on the website? Ino there are alterations to be made to the Fixtures yet, but roughly when do you expect them to be out? thanks

Within the next couple of weeks, but we have to repeat what we said before. Repeatedly asking when these are going to be released will not speed the process up.

was it the league fixtures that werent passed or the championship ones, any idea on when the quarter finals of the hurling championship could be?

The draws for the championships have laready been posted. It was not a case of "passing" anything. This is the perogative of County Committee. Anyhow, a few requests were made for CCC to look at timing of fixtures and that is what is being done.

Was the fixtures passed at last nights county meeting and also interested if the draw for the minor championship was made ?

No, some alterations to the fixture schedule have been requested arising from last night's meeting and therefore, they are not ready to be posted at this stage. The minor championship draw will be posted when we are given it - hopefully later today.

Hi Admin,

does the county have a specific community relations officer and if so do you have a contact for him or her? I had a look through the committees section and couldnt find one but I may have missed something.

thanks

No, but if you could be more specific about your enquiry we might be able to point you in the right direction.

According to D Mc Kinley (UTV report) it's not easy for the Antrim hurling management 'picking mainly from 3 clubs'. Could confirm the sceptics most dearly cherished beliefs? Yet yesterday maybe 12 clubs were represented. Seems like a bit of an own-goal!
OG!

We think he meant that it has not been easy picking from mainly 3 clubs - in the past. You really have little to do posting your interpretation of a few words said on TV. The fact is that many clubs now have one or two players at least, on the panel. Guess who that is down to? Actions speak louder than words we think!

I was told today by someone that the national league football squad has been selected. Have'nt had chance to look at irish news to see if it were in it-could you post the squad if you have it or could possibly get hold of it.Thanks!

See reply to previous query on this.

I agree with this respect campaign but I must point out that if the refs are going to get respect the standard of refs must improve. I know it sounds bad always blaming refs but in some cases they do ruin matches by getting involved with players and basing their decisions on previous fouls. If the respect campaign is going to work then both sides must improve.

Will any of the home National Hurling League games be played in North Antrim?

Not this year.
