To answer your first point. The dates will be posted soon but Club secretaries will receive them first. As to your second point regarding the size of leagues. No they are not increased to 12 teams. The reserve games will not be played as a double header at mid-week games early in the League but as the evenings lengthen there may be double header games.

Up to under 18 - Eire Og, St Patricks Lisburn & St Agnes'
At under 21 it is Eire Og and St Patricks Lisburn.
St Agnes' entered the under 21 football championship by themselves.
Battle can also refer to giving your best efforts to overcome the opposition when competing in a contest or game.
I suspect that this is what Cody was trying to convey when he was talking about hurling.
It looks like he may have a battle on his hands getting this concept across to everybody.
Good teachers such as Cody encourage children to read widely, contextualize what is said and beware of sound bites. It’s not always easy for them to open up young minds to the wonders of literature, but they battle on regardless. Generally pupils attain a high level of literacy; some even grow up to be referees!
