I know that ticket prices for these league matches are set by "Croke Park",but what punishment/sanctions are in place for a County setting their own price? Surely what our county players and management deserve is a decent crowd to come out and give them a bit of support and create a bit of atmosphere at these league games?I think by charging a fair and reasonable price(£5.00?),for entry to ground without any stand or covered terrace, could double the attendance.

In relation to the other posters question regarding promotion and relegation. Is this going to be the same for all divisions or only division 1? Does the winners of div3 and 4 get promoted?
Thanks

Two questions.

Can you clarify the promotion relegation position for all the sen hurling leagues?

At the end of 2015 how many go down from each - is it 2 from Division 1; 4 from Div 2; 6 from Div 3 and into Div 4?

The motion passed suggests no club will be promoted from Div 2, 3 & 4) at the end of the year but its about surviving in your league. Is that correct?

Is £13 not a bit steep to watch a hurling match? I was at ravenhill recently and paid £15 to watch a match. You get better facilities, a roof over your head, bar and food and you're paying to watch a professional match. £13 for a hurling match in my opinion is far to expensive

Buy the ticket online before the game and get a €5 reduction. The admission is set by Croke Park for each of the Allianz League games.

I understand in previous years, an element of Gaeltacht fees can be provided by South Antrim (via club secretary) only after full payment is made, as long as your club participates in South Antrim? Is this the case for this year and also I hope it is applicable to ladies, as we play South Antrim too? Any comments please? Helpful kind, obviously, thank you.

In the past gender didn't matter. A question at the next South Antrim Committee meeting would get you all your answers.

just seen the response that no teams will be promoted from DIV 2 hurling this year . does this not make DIV 2 pointless . especially to those that will not be in a relegation fight.

If you are coming to Armoy on Sunday for the hurling game or just thinking about it - Come on!
And why not go and see the Dark Hedges -(made famous by Game of Thrones) just a couple of miles from Armoy!
Bus loads of Chinese folk make their way to see these trees!
If we could some of those tourists up to see the hurling?
Probably would be even more of an attraction / bigger hit than the Trees..
Important thing don't miss the Antrim match
In Armoy this Sunday
