FOOTBALL

Antrim v Derry - Ulster SFC & MFC - Sun 3rd June 2007, Casement Park. Why not come along to Casement Park to support your County in the Ulster Senior and Minor Football Championships on Sunday 3rd June.

Minor throw-in at 12:30pm
Senior throw-in at 4:15pm



HURLING

Antrim v Derry/Down - Ulster SHC Final - Sun 3rd June 2007, 2:30pm Casement Park. Again, we at Saffron Óg would encourage all young boys and girls to give Antrim their support in the Ulster Hurling Final on Sunday 3rd June 2:30pm, between the Minor and Senior Football games.



IRISH NEWS CLUB & SCHOOL AWARDS

Antrim clubs were very successful at the recent awards. In the City Club section Eire Óg, Doire Achaidh were the winners, with St. Agnes' highly commended.

McQuillans Ballycastle were also winners of the Town Club section.

Congratulations to all concerned!



DISAPPOINTMENT FOR CROSS & PASSION

Cross and Passion O'Keefe Cup Finalists 2007. Cross & Passion College, Ballycastle unfortunately were beaten by FCJ Bunclody of Wexford in the All-Ireland 'B' Colleges Hurling Final on a 1-11 to 0-8 scoreline.



INTO/GAA MINI-SEVENS

Eleven primary schools competed in the Sevens at McMullan’s, Ballycastle’s fine new complex, with approximately 200 children participating.

In the hurling section St Patrick’s Primary School, Loughguile, defeated St Mary’s Primary School, Cushendall, after a very entertaining final. The school recorded a double success, when the camogs were winners of the camogie section.



ST. BENEDICT’S RANDALSTOWN WIN ULSTER

St. Benedict's Randalstown won the Ulster Vocational 'B' Hurling Title. The Randalstown College defeated St Patrick’s, Dungannon by 2-21 to 3-02 in the Ulster Vocational 'B' Final played at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown to win the school’s first provincial title.
