Antrim Lose in Division 4 Final
Antrim lost out to Sligo in the final of the div 4 football league in Longford but still gain promotion to div3 in the National Football League. The Saffrons got off to a good start but gave away a soft goal to give the Sligo men the lead. With ten minutes to go to the break Antrim were four points in front and playing well.
Unfortunately Sligo hit eight unanswered points to go four in front and looked like winning easily but this Antrim team don’t give easily and with time almost up had drawn level. Two fine points then sealed victory for Sligo
