A NIGHT NOT TO BE MISSED IN HANNAHSTOWN
Låmh Dhearg is to stage the highly rated and hilarious new GAA comedy, St Mungo’s on Wednesday 4th March at 8.00. The club has the honour of being only the GAA Club in West Belfast to gain exclusive rights for the production.

The play is centered on the worst Gaelic Football team in history but unbelievably manage to somehow reach the All Ireland final in Croke Park . The production, written by and starring the talented Conor Grimes and his side-kick Alan McKee will appeal to gaa enthusiasts and members of the local community.

Conor is a life-long dedicated gael while Alan, a more recent convert to the game, is steeped in school and club rugby. Conor said, “This is a story with jokes and characters that every GAA club will identify with but lots of surprises as well. I draw on my 45 years living and breathing the GAA while Alan used his experience of looking at it from the outside and playing rugby.

Conor and Alan are quality entertainers as shown by the highly acclaimed ‘The History of the Troubles According to My Da’ while of course they both produced the 2003 ‘Datsun Donaghy’ DVD celebrating Tyrone’s journey to their first All Ireland win.

Tickets are £12.50 and can be purchased from any member of committee or contact Maura Tubridy (07855 403744).
