In 2013 we raised €35,000 and massive awareness nationwide.

The goal for 2015. To go bigger and better. We hope to have as many people as possible joining us.

Our Aims:
To bring the our message of minding both your physical and mental health all over the country.
To prevent deaths due to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
To raise awareness of these undetected cardiac conditions.
To raise vital funds for our four designated charities, The Irish Heart Foundation, CRY(Cardiac Risk in the Young), The Cormac McAnallen Trust and Aware.
This year we are taking a more holistic approach to the effects that these undetected heart conditions can have and so we have added a fourth charity, a mental health one, Aware. In October 2014 I myself went public on my battle with depression post illness in the following interview http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/hurling/anguish-banished-by-the-fortitude-of-hurlings-family-30638644.html

We as a group have seen the positive effect that speaking out has had and so, we wish to take that message further again. Physical health, mental health. It's all the one.

If you're interested in joining us just get in touch at cycleforlife2015@gmail.com
A sponsorship card is attached for those who wish to take part.

An online donation fund has also now been set up at http://www.irishheart.ie/iopen24/donations.php?sID=723

Any help, in any way possible would be greatly appreciated.
Keep an eye out for upcoming fundraising events and our launch in DCU over the next month.

All the best,
Cormac Ryan and The Cycle For Life Team
