Rossa Divis Mountain Charity Run/Walk

30 December 2014
On a cold and snowy St Stephen’s Day morning over 200 Gaels from many different clubs across the County and further afield gathered on Divis mountain for the annual O’Donovan Rossa Charity Fun Run/Walk. This year it was decided that it should be in memory of one of Antrim and Rossa’s true Gaels, Ronan Boyle, who passed away suddenly during 2014. On the day £1500.00 was raised for the nominated charity, The Cormac McAnallen Trust, which was set up to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrests.
The Boyle family would like to thank everyone who participated and so kindly donated to this worthy cause. Hopefully we will see you all again next year for more of the same and hopefully more Gaels will join us.
