15 October 2014
On Saturday the 4th October the U14 football squad travelled to Clonduff GAC in Down for the annual Blitz attended by all 9 Ulster Counties.

Pitted in a tough group the team got off to a great start beating Monaghan on a scoreline of 1-3 to 0-3.

Second up was a strong Armagh side who went flying out of the blocks going into half time 1-2 to 0-1 in front of Antrim but the Saffrons outplayed their Orchard rivals in the 2nd half only to be pipped at the post by a last gasp Armagh point to lose 1-4 to 0-6.

The third, and final, game saw Antrim play against a very physical South Down side. What the Saffrons lacked in size they made up for in determination and skill. In a close encounter a late goal and point for Saffrons saw them snatch a draw on a score line of 1-2 to 1-2.
