McCAFF GOLF CLASSIC 2013

As a father and grandfather, a husband and a friend, a player and coach with St. Paul's GAC, and a tutor in Springvale who dedicated himself to educating and developing young people. Kevin McCaffrey was loved and appreciated by all who knew him. Aged 48 years, Kevin's life came to a sudden and tragic end on 2nd February 2013. Kevin died by suicide. His friends were unaware of the difficulties that he faced, and were unable to help him. However, we are able to help his family as they face life without Kevin.
As a mark of respect to him, and in support of his family, Kevin's friends from St. Paul's GAC have organised the 'McCaff Golf Classic 2013'. The event will take place on Friday 26th April 2013 at Rockmount Golf Club, Carryduff, and will be followed by a social function in St. Paul's GAC, Belfast.
We are asking for your help and support to make the event a success by:
1. Getting Involved - the fee is £40 per person. The fee includes entry into the event, prizes, a 2 course meal at the end of your round of golf, and free entry into the social function which will take place from 8pm in St. Paul's GAC;
2. Sponsoring the Event - we are inviting organisations, families and individuals to sponsor a hole at the event at a cost of £100. Sponsorship will be acknowledged throughout the golf course, in the event programme, and in the local press; and / or,
3. Donating a Prize - any prizes that can be donated will be gratefully accepted.
Kevin is remembered for his involvement in the GAA, and his love of music and the Irish language. His life was defined by a willingness and ability to help other people. We appreciate your help and support in ensuring that the 'McCaff Golf Classic 2013' is a fitting tribute to a great person.
