Loughgiel historian Bobby McIlhatton is keen to identify the man presenting the Volunteer Cup to Loughgiel captain Brendan McGarry after his team's win over Glenariffe in the 1971 county final. He has tried some of the former county board members but they can not place him, so we are thinking it may well be someone from the championship sponsors, either Bass or Tennents. Can you help?
