There has been a very warm response for the few words posted on the site in memory of Paddy McGinley, and in particular to his 'long suffering Saffron' article from 2008. The last time I asked Paddy to come up with a few words was a matter of weeks ago, and followed a request from our friendly rivals in Cork for an Antrim input into their centenrary celebrations to mark their 1911 All Ireland Football final victory over ......Antrim.
Attached is the article Paddy sent back. As usual he signed off his email with the title, 'musician and thespian'. He didn't need to add in the 'Antrim follower' bit.
