Antrim footballers head into most important series of league games

Antrim have three games left of their Division 2 campaign, three games in which to pick up enough points to retain our Division 2 status, starting against Sligo at home this Sunday before travelling to Donegal on the 3rd of April and hosting Derry a week later. In all likelihood we will need to pick up two wins to ensure safety and that brings Sunday’s clash into sharp focus. Liam Bradley has always targeted home games and our one win of the campaign so far was against Meath in Casement.

Sunday is vital and it is a game well within the reach of our footballers. It is crucial that the team gets the big support that they deserve. Sligo travel well to games and have brought big numbers to Casement over the last two seasons and we know they will have support on Sunday. Get to Casement, bring a friend, a family member or a clubmate who doesn’t usually go. Persuade the fan who only usually goes to Championship match to get to the match – because this is in effect a game of Championship importance.

Throw in is 1.30pm, Club Aontroma ballots will be on sale for a half time draw and the match programme will be on sale, £2 or €2.

See you there.
