Tonight's draw for next year's football championships pitted Antrim footballers against Donegal in the preliminary round with the winners to face Cavan while the hurlers drew Laois in a preliminary round in Leinster.

The draws for the provincial hurling and football Championships 2011 have taken place, with several mouth-watering ties down for decision.
In the Leinster SHC draw a quarter-final encounter between Dublin and Offaly is the first plum tie in the competition.
While in Munster, All-Ireland SHC winners Tipperary meet Cork in the province's opening encounter.
In the Munster SFC draw the two superpowers of the footballing south-west, Cork and Kerry, have been placed in opposite sides of the draw, meaning a galactico-style Munster football final is a real possibility.
Connacht's defending football champions Roscommon will face New York in the Connacht SFC preliminary round. Last year's beaten Connacht finalists Sligo meet Leitrim in the preliminary round. If both of last year's finalists progress to the semi-finals, they will meet again to fight for a place in Connacht football's showpiece decider.
In Ulster - as always - there are some mammoth football ties in prospect. At the Ulster SFC quarter-final stage, Armagh v Down and Tyrone v Monaghan have epic written all over them.
Finally, in the Leinster SFC draw, All-Ireland 2010 beaten semi-finalist's Kildare will face Wicklow in the first round. Leinster's other beaten All-Ireland SFC 2010 semi-finalists Dublin will clash with Laois or Longford in the Leinster quarters.
