U17 Antrim Football Development Squad - fitness testing

Could the following U17 Antrim Club players please attend a fitness testing session on Saturday April 24th in Greemount/CAFRE (College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise), 22 Greenmount Road, Antrim, Co. Antrim,BT41 4PU (directions below) at 2pm. The Ulster GAA Sport Science Officer will be conducting the fitness testing.

Could the players or parents of these players please text Ciara Ferry (075 45434967), Antrim Coaching & Games Manager with your "name, club & that you are able to attend". YOU NEED TO TEXT YOU ARE ATTENDING. Be at the centre for 2pm SHARP for registration. Also, bring indoor gear e.g. runners, shorts and plenty of water.

The U17's played a challenge game against Tyrone on Saturday. After the first 10 minutes of finding their feet, the Antrim U17 team played some great football and gave a surprised Tyrone a very good challenge.

Directions from Ballymena
Take the A26 from Ballymena. After approximately 8 miles (13 KM) the road crosses over the M2 at Dunsilly roundabout. Follow the sign for Antrim. At the first roundabout continue straight across. At the second roundabout, take the second exit onto a mini dual carriageway. At the traffic lights and the following mini roundabout go straight across. Continue 1.5 miles (2 KM), turn left into Tirgracey Road. Greenmount is three quarters of a mile (1.6 KM) on the left.

Directions from Belfast
Take the M2 out of Belfast. At Junction 5, approximately 10 miles (16 KM) from Belfast, follow the sign for Antrim. Take the A6 from Templepatrick towards Antrim for 6 miles (10 KM) until the traffic lights at Oldstone Road. Turn left under railway bridge. After 0.4 miles (0.6 KM) turn right into Tirgracey Road. Greenmount is three quarters of a mile (1.6 KM)on the right.
