We are on the move as a Gaa county and we have a lot to do with regard to developing extensive facilities, at Dunsilly, as needed and necessary to allow us to continue to move onwards and upwards. Money is tight and the economic outlook is not good, so with this in mind progress will be a formidable challenge but if we are resolutely minded to make progress we will most certainly achieve the same, financial hardship notwithstanding.

Every County has its fair share of business owners and entrepreneurs, who in turn will adapt to change and survive. If we can all face the future by working together and that entails getting your business name out in front of as many people within your community as possible and in return expecting and getting a favourable response, by way of increased business share, through community support then we should all stand to benefit.

From time to time we are approached by those in business within our community and offered further opportunity to create mutually inclusive partnerships. Perhaps the time is right to look more closely at this commercial aspect of County affairs and coordinate our approach, to create a data base of support. We need increased sponsorship, it is an imperative, and we can offer in exchange an opportunity to connect with an increasing number of potential customers.

We need and owe it to county supporters to produce more marketing material for hand outs to our youngsters. We need to be able to afford collectable programmes, and again we need to generate a lot of funds for the development of appropriate facitities within our county. All offers of assistance along with pointers, towards potential sponsors and advertisers will be very much appreciated. And finally, yes to the begrudgers, we are always begging for financial support but take a good long look at what Antrim Gaels are doing for your kids, my kids, our kids.
