The 2nd Ulster Provincial U10 Indoor Hurling Blitz will take place on Saturday 6th March, in Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt.
Last year we had 105 teams representing 50 Clubs participated in the ‘FUN’ Centred Blitz. Again this year we can accommodate 108 teams (54 in session 1 and 54 in Session 2)
All Hurling Clubs are invited to attend BUT must be pre-registered. Registration is Free.

Venue: Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt
Time: Session 1: 11:30am – 1:00pm
Session 2: 1:30pm – 3:00pm
The Closing Date for entrants is Monday 22nd February
Ulster U10 Indoor Blitz’s Regulations
Playing Rules:
· Players must be born after 1st January 2000·
Teams are 5-a-side (Max Panel of 7 players)·
Unlimited substitutions·
All ground hurling with a ‘First-Touch’ sliotar·
No kicking – accidental contact with the feet is permitted·
Games are 5 minutes straight or if one team reaches 5 goals· Any personal foul will result in a penalty 1v1.·
All players must be at least 5m from frees and puc-outs.·
There is NO semi-circle rule. ·
After all Goals (either for or against) each team must change their Goalkeeper.
Notes:
· These games are for the benefit of the boys/girls involved.· There should be no negative shouting at players or referees · Teams must line up and shake hands with the opposition after each match·
No food or drink will be provided so teams are asked to provide lunch/ snacks for themselves.
Food and drink are NOT permitted in the halls.·
We are on a tight time frame and games will be run off as fixture list. If games are missed due to lateness they will not be re-fixed.· All teams must be at the venue at least 20mins prior to the first game.
