St Comgall’s PS Antrim won the Cumman Na mBunscol Girls' Indoor 5 a side Tournament held at St Patrick’s College on Thursday 29th January 2010. St Comgall’s defeated an excellent Mount St Michael’s PS, Randalstown team in the final by three goals to one. In what was a very entertaining match the teams managed to maintaining the fantastic standard of football that was on show from the first game of the tournament. After the group stages the finalists, along with St Mary’s PS Cargan and St Oliver Plunkett’s PS, Toome qualified for the Semi – finals. The first semi-final saw St Comgall’s narrowly defeat St Mary’s Cargan whilst the second semi final produced the game of the tournament. Mount St Michael’s defeating St Oliver Plunkett’s after extra time and penalties. Congratulations to St Comgall’s and all the other teams that took part and produced an excellent afternoon of football. St. Comgall’s now go forward as South West Antrim representatives to the All County Finals.
