Please note that the Property Insurance has been transferred to Chartis Insurance Company ( formally known as AIG).

A submission was issued by Willis to all potential insurers seeking competitive quotations with various options and after due consideration it was agreed that the risk should be replaced with the above Insurer.

Serious consideration was given to the various options and what had to be taken into account was the current claims experience and the type of claims particularly the issue of Break ins and Flood Claims. It was agreed and negotated with our new insurer that the current excess of €4,000 would remain for all losses with the exception of flood where the excess will be €25,000. For the excess to remain at €4,000 across the board it would have resulted in a considerable increase in clubs premium which in the current environment clubs could not afford.

I will be issue a note of your premium following the next meeting of the National Insurance Work Group on 12th Jan 2010. However in the meantime I should be obliged if you would inform all your clubs of the change as soon as possible.
