Year 9 BT Ulster Colleges McGreevy Cup Semi Final

St. Malachy’s Belfast 8-6 St.Colman’s Newry 2-2
This semi final of the year 9 hurling competition was won thanks to a great first half display by St.Malachy’s. Direct play to the forwards saw St.Malachy’s bag six goals in the first half with scores being spread throughout the team, coming from Ruairi Donaghy, Anton Lidster, Killian Jennings, Conor McEvoy, Eoghan Conlon and Manus Mullan. Good team play ensured St.Malachy’s were on top of a strong St.Colman’s team who have had a great Autumn of hurling so far. St.Malachy’s now await the winners of St.Patrick’s Keady and Our Lady and St.Patrick’s Knock. The final is set for Friday 11th December.
