Cross and Passion - All Ireland Cahmpions

The Ballycastle College won rheir first colleges hurling title when they had a seven point victory over Dublin School Colaiste Eoin in the final in Newry. Leading by 2 6 to 0 3 at half time and despite playing against the wind in the second period Cross and Passion never looked like losing and although the Dublin boys fought to the end the Okeefe cup was always heading to Ballycastle

U21 Football Championship

After being on level terms at half time in this game against Tyrone Antrim fell away in the second half and the Oneill County boys were victorious on a scoreline of Tyrone 3 12 Antrim 1 11

CushendallWell done to another Cushendall man Neill McManus who brought honour to his club and county when he won the February Ulster GAA Writers merit award for his display against De la Salle of Waterford in the All Ireland club semi final.

 




Antrim Football Manager Wins Award

Congratulations to Liam Bradley the Antrim manager who won the March award from the Ulster GAA writers for steering the Saffrons to promotion from Div 4 of the National football league. This is the first time in over 21 years that Antrim have won back to back awards with Neill McManus winning the month before.

Congratulations and good luck against Donegal.
