Congratulations Shane

Shane McNaughtonCongratulations to Shane McNaughton from Cushendall who won the AIB Ulster Club Hurler of the Year award. Shane won the award for some outstanding displays for both club and county. He will pick up his award in Dublin on March 9th.

Walsh Cup Holders Beaten

Walsh CupAntrim were beaten by All Ireland Champions Kilkenny in the semi final of the Walsh Cup in Casement Park by five points.After defeating Laois in the first round holders Antrim despite putting up a great display of hurling and being on level terms with 15 minutes to go werer just not good enough.

 

 



Good Luck to Cushendall

CushendallCushendall hurlers play Munster Champions De La Salle of Waterford in the All Ireland Semi final on the 22 February in Parnell Park Dublin and all at Saffron Og wish them the best of luck.

 




Gort Na Mona Lose

CushendallUnfortunately the Belfast club lost their semi final in Cork by Five points.In the previous round the defeated London team Robert Emmetts who had quite a few Antrim players in their line out
