Antrim U21 footballers battled to overcome not one but two heavy defects tonight in her Ulster U21 football Championship, eventually drawing 3.14 to 1.20 after extra time. The young Saffrons were 7 down late in normal time and secured Extra Time with a goal last seconds of the game.
By half time in ET Antrim were facing up to a 6 point deficit. A string of points squared the game and in fact Antrim had the chance to seal a remarkable victory with a late free. That wasn't to be however and the draw ensures a home replay next Wednesday.
