When 20 members of your club sign up to One Antrim, nominating your club, school or other unit of the association, your club will receive 40% of the monies raised by those members. So 20 members will release £800 per year for the club, arising from the £10 per month membership.
Aside from the nominated clubs, the money is used to further the development of Gaelic Games in our county, including the all important development of the Centre of Participation at Dunsilly.
We have now received planning permission for Dunsilly at progress on site is dependent on the scale and speed of fundraising. We are diligently pursuing all possible funding sources, both from within the GAA and from other external sources, but we have a responsibility within our own county to raise funds also.
The One Antrim vehicle is a wonderful way to support your county and - as St Agnes, Lamh Dhearg, Portglenone and Rossa realised last night, to take home a significant cheque as well.
Pictured are Club Aontroma Executive members Colm McKenna and Margaret Flynn presenting cheques to those clubs.
Will your club be next?
