On the day President Obama visited Belfast , 74 young P6 hurlers were more interested in their hurling blitz hosted by St Mary,s Cbs Belfast, with one player heard to remark "Did you see yer man's helicopter?" while striking the sliothar.
On the day 7 schools were able to participate Christ the Redeemer , Holy Child Ps , Oliver Plunkett Ps , St Michaels PS, Holy Cross Boys and St John the Baptist .
Each school played 4 games with all matches refereed by year 11 boys.
St Lukes PS attended and played 2 challenge games.Thanks to their coaches.
