The incoming week promises plenty of action for the Naomh Comhghall Club in Antrim Town, beginning with the annual Midsummer Golf Day on Thursday. Participants will be guaranteed a super golf experience on one of Ireland's premier parkland courses, currently in excellent condition after Saturday's Captain's Day. Among those testing their golfing skills on the day, will be Saffron marksmen of some golfing reputation Liam Watson and Paddy Cunningham, along with the bainisteoir himself Liam Bradley for whom Massereene will be a new and hopefully rewarding experience. Proceeds of this event will help fund development at the Dunsilly Centre. There are still a few time slots left for teams or individuals, between 11.00 and 4.00. £40 per person which includes an excellent two course meal in the scenic loughside Clubrooms.
