ALL SAINTS SPREAD THE GAELIC MESSAGE FURTHER AFIELD

The All Saints GAA club have embarked on an innovative coaching project whereby local children from Ethnic Minority backgrounds are being introduced to the thrills and spills of gaelic games. Suported financially by Sport NI the All Saints club has been conducting juvenile coaching in gaelic football, hurling and camogie each Saturday morning in the Ballymena North Centre.

From this Saturday the project swaps the leather for the ash as hurling and camogie take centre stage. Upwards of 50 children continue to attend the coaching each week and great fun is had by all. In 4 short weeks the participants have gone from never having experienced gaelic football to hand passing and soloing with the best of them.

The coaching runs from 11.00am-12.00noon and is open to all children from other countries, boys and girls, aged 7 - 14 years. The project runs until Saturday 31st March (excluding St. Patrick's day).
