SENIOR HURLING INTERCOUNTY
Just to update the hurling fraternity within the county. The Training Panel are working away on Tuesday evening's, Friday evening's and Saturday afternoon's in UUJ.
Tuesday Placement Session, focus's on Strength Conditioning and Core Development. Coach's Ciarian Cunnigham and William Moore, Paul Shaw of UUJ are progressing the development of the training panel.
Friday/Saturday Placement Sessions are held indoors and outdoors. Fitness Development/Skill and Match related aspects are the Key factors.
Sunday 22nd January 2012 the Training Panel Played Loughgiel. Played over 2x25min games and 2x20min games

The Senior Hurling management would like to thank the Officals at the Armoy venue for the use of the venue. We would also like to extend our 'Best Wishes' to The Loughgiel Shamrocks Players, Management and Club in their upcoming All-Ireland Club Semi-Final.
The Training Panel will undergo Sports Science Testing in early February under The guidence of The National Hurling Camogie Development Centre, Sports Science Coaches. The Training Panel will play The Ulster Railway Cup Panel on Saturday 11th February at a Belfast venue.
