• Damien Quinn New Antrim Senior Hurling Captain

Damien Quinn (Loughgiel) has been named as captain of the Antrim Senior Hurling Team for 2012, with Michael Herron as Vice-captain.

Announcing the decision today Antrim Senior Hurling Team Manager Jerry Wallace said “This was the last duty as team manager to fulfil before the start of the 2012 campaign.
Damien represents the County Champions – Loughgiel, and is a very experienced player on and off the field. Michael Herron also represents the same ethos”


• Antrim Senior Hurling Trainer Announced

Former Antrim Inter-county and current Senior Hurling Goalkeeper for Naomh Eoin, Ciaran Cunningham has been appointed Physical Trainer to the Antrim Senior Hurling Team.
Ciaran has, and still is, competing with distinction for his Club and County and is very experienced in the ever evolving aspects of fitness.

Antrim Senior Hurling Team Manager Jerry Wallace said “I am delighted to see Ciaran take this role change within County Antrim, as regards the Senior Inter-county Team.
Ciaran will bring a new dimension to our physical preparation, and the management Team are delighted to have him on board
