Captain of Antrim minor footballers Michael Hynds stated today that confidence among the squad is high, “everyone is ready to go and we are all looking forward to Sunday.”
“We played Donegal recently and it was a draw. On that day we showed a lot of courage and a lot of ability and I think we have improved since then. Playing Donegal is nothing new to us and it certainly holds no fear and no surprises.”
Michael, from Lamh Dhearg, says that some other Antrim teams have been written off in the past but not this one.
“We know we have ability and we have a lot of players that have enjoyed minor football at a very high level, so we are travelling in confidence. I hope the supporters come to the stadium early and cheer us on.”
