There will be fitness testing for the U14 Antrim Football Development Squad on Saturday, 9th of October in CAFRE indoor hall, Greenmount, outside of Antrim town (directions below) from 10am to 12pm. There will be 2 time slots, please see below which time you are to attend. Please arrive 15 minutes before your time slot for registration. Please wear appropriate runners/trainers as this will be held in the hall and bring water with you.
There will be a follow up session on Wednesday, October 20th at 7pm. This session will be delivered by the Ulster Sports Science officer and will include a strength & conditioning programme demonstration which will be based on the teams fitness test results.
It is important that all players attend as this could be your last session until 2011.
Directions from Ballymena
Take the A26 from Ballymena. After approximately 8 miles (13 KM) the road crosses over the M2 at Dunsilly roundabout. Follow the sign for Antrim. At the first roundabout continue straight across. At the second roundabout, take the second exit onto a mini dual carriageway. At the traffic lights and the following mini roundabout go straight across. Continue 1.5 miles (2 KM), turn left into Tirgracey Road. Greenmount is three quarters of a mile (1.6 KM) on the left.
Directions from Belfast
Take the M2 out of Belfast. At Junction 5, approximately 10 miles (16 KM) from Belfast, follow the sign for Antrim. Take the A6 from Templepatrick towards Antrim for 6 miles (10 KM) until the traffic lights at Oldstone Road. Turn left under railway bridge. After 0.4 miles (0.6 KM) turn right into Tirgracey Road. Greenmount is three quarters of a mile (1.6 KM)on the right.
