On Sat 18th Sept the following clubs had participated in the South Antrim sponsored blitz.
St Johns ,Ballyboden St Endas, Ruairi og,
Rossa , St Endas, and St Galls.
The teams played 3/4 games and it finished with St Johns and Ruairi og playing in the final , with St Johns running out winners , St Johns 1.05 v 0.02 Ruairi Og. Donal Mc Carry from the South Antrim Board presented St John's captain Domhnall Nugent with the plaque and medals
The standard of play and commitment from the players considering the heavy rain, was excellent , thanks to Referees Gerry Carroll and Colum Carroll, and to Dominic Mc Kinley who coordinated the blitz on Saturday. Thanks to Rossa and St Pauls for use of their facilities and to SA for providing lunch for everyone. the hot soup etc was very welcome on such a wet day !
