Antrim GAA – Oral History Project.

The real value of the legacy of Gaa needs little elaboration and is greatly appreciated by many Gaels, but there are some great stories, that are so much part of our rich cultural heritage; these can and do get lost, all too often because they are not recorded for posterity.

You could, perhaps, play a part in helping to preserve and protect some of that rich history, by way of recalling and recounting a story of GAA interest, within Antrim, of which you are familiar. It might be about almost any aspect of the sport, involving people, places or perhaps memorable events.

The Gaa is presently endeavouring to collect and collate as much information and history as is otherwise possible, from as many sources as is possible – will you help or do you know of someone who might be able to? If you have such personal knowledge or can otherwise provide information, relating to memorable events, then please do get in touch with me, either by telephone, text or email.

Your cooperation and contribution would be very much appreciated.
