Iontaobhas na Gaelscolaíochta, the Trust Fund for Irish Medium Education, in conjunction with Cumann Cultúrtha Mhic Reachtain will be hosting an evening in the Europa Hotel, on the 31 July 2010, as part of Scoil Samhraidh Mhic Reachtain.
This is an event that has been ongoing for over 10 years now and raises money on behalf of the Irish Medium Education sector. The money raised this year will go to Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí, Magherafelt. The school is optimistic of meeting the threshold for Department of Education funding in the near future, but at this point it needs our help to keep going. Magherafelt has a naíscoil for 5 years now and the parents decided to take the next step and create a pathway for Irish medium education for their children. This is an opportunity to lend a helping hand to a project that has taken the lead and shown its mettle.
We invite you to join us at this great event to celebrate with us the achievements of the sector. We ask you to come along and join us at this night, where you will enjoy yourself while you support this worthy cause. The cost is £600.00 for a three course meal and entertainment for a table of 10.
There will be a special guest speaker and the entertainment will take the form of traditional céilí dance.
We are also offering organisations and businesses the opportunity to support the event by subscribing to a list of supporters of the evening. The list of supporters will be included in the programme of events given to each guest on the night. This will cost £100.
