Under 12 Croke Park Activity Day 6th April 2010
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the Activity Day on Tuesday 12th April in Croke Park. On the day, Antrim were able to give 24 of our clubs, 12 football and 12 hurling, the opportunity of a lifetime, to step out on to Croke Park in their club jerseys. We appreciate the work that each of the 24 clubs undertook in order to take each team to Croke Park.
On the games themselves, we would again like to thank the mentors for ensuring that all the games were played in both a sporting and fun environment for all the children. Taking 312 children down to Croke Park takes a lot of organisation and co-ordination and all the clubs, Ulster, Antrim Staff and Tony McCollum deserve credit for ensuring that all of the children had a day they will remember for the rest of their lives.
