Hi everyone,

I hope you are all getting organised for the big day in Croke Park – there seems to be great excitement around the county.

In order to make the day run smoothly (and hopefully we will get invited back again next year) please find attached a set of guidelines. Please strictly adhere to these guidelines that have been set by Ulster and Antrim GAA. Also attached is the Go-Games rules and the fixtures for the day.

Just a few points:
• Only a MAXIMIUM 13 players and 3 mentors are permitted to be on the pitch for any one team.
• Mentors are to bring bibs. Only mentors who are wearing bibs will be allowed on the pitch.
• Each club is allocated to referee one match. This may be a player or a mentor – don’t forget a whistle. (See the fixtures for details).

Croke Park are only allowing 100 children and 10 mentors for the stadium tour – this works out at 7 teams including two mentors per team. Please make arrangements with the bus driver and parents to remain an extra 30 minutes approx until the tour finished. More details are on the guidelines. The following teams have been picked out of the hat:
o St. Paul’s Football Team
o Patrick Pearse’s football team
o St. James Aldergrove Football Team
o Dunloy Hurling team
o Oisin Glenariffe Hurling Team
o Creggan football team
o Rossa hurling team

I have just received word that a few teams are thinking of bringing U14 players i.e. 13 and 14 year olds. THIS IS STRICTLY AN U12 GO GAMES TOURNAMENT (for players born on or after Ist January 1998) and if there are teams playing U14 players they will be removed from the blitz.

The following are the football teams:
1. St. James Aldergrove

4. Lamh Dhearg
5. St. Mary’s Aghagallon
6. Cargin
7. Ard Eoin Kickhams
8. St. Paul’s
9. Creggan
10. Patrick Pearses
