Colm McKenna was elected to the role of Chairman of Club Aontroma last night at the AGM of the fundraising body dedicated to supporting the development of the games in Antrim.
Colm takes over from the inaugral Chairman Eamonn Prenter, who will continue his involvement in CA and will concentrate on developing the Antrim family within Dublin and beyond.
The meeting last night paid special tribute to Eamonn, who has been Chairman for 4 years, and was instrumental in the establishment of Club Aontroma. His dedication to the organisation and the County is beyond question. Thanks Eamonn.
The re vamped interactive Club Aontroma website will launch before the weekend and will include details of upcoming events, as well as letting you know how to get involved.
Meantime look out for the ladies footballers who will, along with Club Aontroma volunteers, be selling national League ballots at the game V Fermanagh this coming Saturday night.
