I hope preparations for the 2010 season are well under way.
As you are aware this year we are offering all clubs in your county a Web Scoreboard – Free of Charge. A Web Scoreboard is a mini-web page which is fed ‘Live’ results, fixtures and league tables. The Irish Independent are sponsoring the club scoreboard for Clubs. The Irish independent will be printing league tables again this year once your competitions start.
The Scoreboard can be linked to a club website and sports manager will automatically update fixtures, results and league tables from your County Board Database to each Club Scoreboard. There is no work for you or the clubs. This Scoreboard service is fully automated.
We think the clubs will see this as another step forward and a good service from you, the County Board.
We will forward you a separate email following this one for your Clubs. The 2nd email will have all the information on how a Club can get a Scoreboard. We would appreciate you forwarding the follow-up email to your Clubs.
