Can I suggest that you advise all clubs of the potential damage to Club Property due to the current severe weather conditions. Some problems will only become evident when there is a thaw and therefore premises need to be monitored on an ongoing basis.
Advise from the appropriate professionals such as plumbers, electricians, etc should be sought in an effort in an effort to avoid potential problems.
Clubs should also be made aware that the GAA Property Insurance carries an excess of €4,000 in respect of Burst Pipes Claims.
If a club has been unfortunate to have suffered damage and the potential cost is greater than €4,000, please contact M/s Elaine Farrelly in Willis on 01/6396452 so that the necessary assessment can be arranged.
