05 January 2010
As you are aware the GAA are rolling out a new online Membership System. It is now compulsory for clubs to use this system and they will have until the end of March to complete this year’s membership.
To facilitate this there will be a couple of training nights held at the start of February.
Tuesday 2nd February
For South West & North Antrim Clubs
Venue: St Louis Grammar School Ballymena
Time: 7pm
Thursday 4th February
For South Antrim Clubs
Venue: St Marys CBS Belfast
Time: 7pm
There can only be one person in attendance from each club due to limited space in the computer rooms.
In the case of Amalgamations at Juvenile Level the player will be registered on the system with their senior club.
To access the system a username and password is required and these will be issued to those in attendance on the nights. So you need to confirm with me the following details for each club
1. Club Name
2. Name of Club Registrar (or whoever is attending the training)
3. Email address of above person.
They will be needed to generate the usernames and passwords. So could they be confirmed and forwarded to me: itofficer.antrim@gaa.ie ASAP.
Once the system is up and running clubs will be provided with a manual and phone support which will be available up until 10 p.m. Monday to Friday and up to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Each clubs members will have been pre-loaded into the system from the members spreadsheets which were supplied earlier last year. It will then be up to the clubs to maintain these themselves.
If there are any queries just get back to me, or just confirm the details with me as soon as possible.
Regards,
Martin McCarry
