The Antrim year 8 indoor hurling blitz took place on Tuesday 15th December at St Johns GAC Belfast . Six schools took part with St Mac Nissis and St Marys CBS both entering two teams, in total there were 80 boys taking part.

both matches were very close and results could have went either way with some great saves , crossbar being struck etc so after 3 hours hurling we had a final
St Mary's 1 v St Mary's 2
the final was played 5 mins each half , finishing level at the end of normal time , 1 v 1
the match then moved into extra time where the first team to score would win , and it turned out to be St Mary's 1 who scored first.
