Supporters can now subscribe for Club and County Results by weekly email. This is an official service provided compliments of the County Board. The service is free and subscribers will receive one weekly email. The email is sent out by the “GAA Scoreboard” and is available for GAA supporters in Ireland and abroad. To subscribe you must complete a short on-line form - http://GAA_Results.sportsmanager.ie or find the link on the homepage of www.clubscoreboard.ie under ‘Match Results by eMail’
The Scoreboard service is provided by the County Board using the eSports Manager software. The service is sponsored by The Irish Independent and can be provided for 28 Counties in Ireland (and London). A full set of club results and associated league tables are also published each Monday in the Irish Independent.
The GAA Scoreboard can also provide clubs with their own Club Scoreboard in conjunction with the Co. Board. A Club Scoreboard is a mini web-page which receives a ‘LIVE’ feed of official club results, fixtures and league tables direct from the County Board. This Scoreboard can be attached to an existing Club website or it can be used as a stand-alone webpage for a club. The Scoreboard provides clubs with an opportunity to generate revenue. In 2009, the GAA Scoreboard will manage 1,800 GAA club competitions; collect results for over 33,000 fixtures; calculate league tables (live) for adult, divisional and underage competitions from U12 upwards for 1,950 GAA clubs. www.sportsmanager.ie
