The Antrim Year 9 Hurling Blitz took place on Friday 24th April at Mallusk Playing Fields with Glen Road CBS running out winners
They played Edmund Rice College in an competitive final. Playing with the breeze in the first half, Edmund Rice were in front at half time. In an exciting second half CBS began to pull back leaving only 2 points in it with a few minutes to go. Then a long ball into the CBS full forward led to the winning goal being scored.
