A Chara,

On the 1st September 2008 Niall Doyle, 26 years old from Toomebridge was involved in a serious car accident on his way to work.

As a result of the accident, Niall sustained de-habilitating injuries to his neck, back and legs. He had to undergo intensive surgery to his back; however, Niall has permanently lost the use of his ankles and feet.

Niall was extremely athletic and a gifted Gaelic footballer, who gave a huge contribution to his local club, Erins Own GAC. It is through the club that the “Niall Doyle Fund” has been set up.

Niall is currently undergoing physiotherapy and rehabilitation in Musgrave Hospital. However, his life has been permanently altered by a tragic event.

We need your help to raise money to sustain Niall through his period of rehabilitation and to assist in the necessary life changing alterations that are now required to facilitate his daily life.

We would be more than grateful for any donation you feel able to make towards this worthy cause.

If you can help in any way at all please fill in the enclosed pledge form and return it to me with a cheque made payable to the “Niall Doyle Fund”.

The upcoming Erins Own GAC Annual Dinner Dance is also being dedicated to this worthy cause. It is at this event that all donors will be acknowledged for their kindness and generosity. The Dinner Dance is to be held on the 21st February 2009 and is currently Sold Out.

Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Yours sincerely,

Ryan Dougan
