The Ulster Council has designed a coaching programme for U8’s and U6’s which they intent to launch within the next week. The programme will cover a number of activities: station work (FUNdamentals), skills, games and outdoor sessions.

The Council has trained the Ulster School Coaches to deliver training of the programme to Club Coaches and Parents. Club Coaches and Parents will receive training on 4 separate occasions; training will cover station work (FUNdamentals), skills, games and outdoor sessions.

The Council are also in the process of having a resource pack printed to assist in the delivery within clubs.

Clubs interested in participating in this initiative will be invited to attend training where the Ulster School Coaches will work with club coaches and parents providing the necessary instruction to enable them to deliver the activity back in their own club.

Any club who wishes to participate in this programme should contact Liam McGoldrick (antrimgaafdm@btconnect.com) or Kieran Megraw (antrimhdm@btconnect.com) or phone 90610318 (Casement Office) on or before Thursday 5th February.
