my son played under 14 for odees last year This year they dont know if they are having under 16 He wanted to go to st galls his manger laughed and told him he could not.HE JUST WANTS TO HURL

If there is no hurling in his own club, then he can still be facilitated.

O'Connell, Graham, McAleese all have great potential. There are a lot more players like these in the county however. Andy Kelly from Ballymena, Dermot McCann from Creggan and Ciaran McKeown from Glenravel. Quite suprised Mark Dougan isnt on the panel

Just a reminder to all coaches, parents, players that the 2009 Coach Education Programme begins next Tuesday Night - 20th january at 7.30pm in Cross & Passion College Sportshall. The first course is "Leraning to Train" in GAA. This is aimed at coaches, potential coaches and parents who are working with children 8-12yrs old. It will provide ideas on what should be covered with children in this age range in relation fundamental skills and movement. This course is free to everyone. You just have to turn up on the night and be prepared to participate. The course tutor is Richard Ferris from Derry.

I hope to see many of you there next Tuesday.

my god the quality of some of the of the antrim players is ?????glimpses of new talent No. 22 think he was from ahoghill against cavan impressed when introduced as well as benny hasson. Antrims full forward lines was completely ineffective due to inexperience and lack of quality ball but there is potential in Mcaleese and Graham.

When will the fixtures be released for the senior and minor leagues this year, so i can book a holiday around them?

Next week after/if County Committee approves them - but that will is senior only. Minor and Under 16 will be nearer the end of the month.
